DIY Perfume Bottle Vase
Creating a perfume bottle flower vase is a lovely DIY project that combines recycling with a touch of creativity. Here’s a simple guide to get you started:
Materials Needed:
- Empty perfume bottle
- Artificial or fresh flowers
- Hot glue gun or strong adhesive
- Decorative elements (optional)
- Scissors
- Ribbon or twine (optional)
Steps:
1. Prepare the Bottle:
- Make sure the perfume bottle is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Remove any labels or residue.
2. Choose and Prepare Flowers:
- Select your choice of flowers. Artificial flowers are more durable and won’t require water, but you can also use fresh flowers if you prefer.
- Trim the stems of the flowers to fit the length of the bottle. If using fresh flowers, trim them at an angle to help with water absorption.
3. Arrange Flowers:
- Carefully arrange the flowers inside the perfume bottle. Experiment with different arrangements until you find one you like.
4. Secure Flowers:
- Use a hot glue gun or strong adhesive to secure the stems of the flowers to the inside of the perfume bottle. Be careful not to use too much glue to avoid it being visible.
5. Add Decorative Elements:
- If desired, add decorative elements such as ribbons, bows, or gems to enhance the appearance of the vase.
6. Finishing Touches:
- Once everything is in place and the glue has dried, give your perfume bottle flower vase a final check to ensure everything is secure and well arranged.
7. Display:
- Find a suitable place to display your beautiful creation. It could be a centrepiece for a table, a decoration for a shelf, or even a gift for someone special.
Tips:
- Be cautious when using hot glue to avoid burns.
- Experiment with different types and colours of flowers to achieve the desired look.
- Consider using a variety of bottle shapes and sizes for a more eclectic display.
- If using fresh flowers, change the water regularly to keep them looking fresh.
With a bit of creativity and effort, you can transform an old perfume bottle into a charming flower vase that adds a touch of elegance to any space!
It’s almost impossible to get my favourite perfume. Chanel Gardenia is not available at many department store beauty counters. It’s not Chanel’s favourite fragrance for some reason. I love having my signature scent. I also enjoy having Chanel No. 5 on my vanity. It’s still a classic.
It’s “covetable”, too, and I don’t want to throw it away when I have used up all the floral-infused splendour. My old empty perfume bottles are turned into vases. These make wonderful accent pieces for shelves, cabinets, and bathrooms.
Why stop with perfume bottles?
Beautiful bouquets can be made in glass milk bottles, sparkling waters, wine bottles and booze bottles. This empty Patron bottle was turned into a beautiful bouquet ( of course!) into a decorative statement on my bar cart.
It’s much easier to slip flowers into a tequila uncorked bottle than it is to remove the top of your favourite perfume. To remove the spray cap, you’ll probably need pliers. You can get fancy and use a hand tool with a diamond wheel. (I’m a big fan of upcycling but I prefer to keep things simple!)
What is your favourite vase that’s not a vase? What about teapots, coffee cups or booze bottles? Or even rain boots?! All of these items make for creative, clever and adorable DIY vase ideas. Use those Valentine’s Day flowers to decorate this year!
DIY PERFUME BOLT AS FLOWERS VASE
Today, I will show you how to display flowers in DIY marbled jars and small pots. This is a simple, yet elegant way to add some flowers to your home. Bloom Nation is a flower delivery company that supports local florists via their online marketplace. Their site has a lot of beautiful flower projects. Then I chose some fresh flowers from the garden of my family. For a simple and delicate result, use Lavender (blue), Abelia (white), Jacobaea Maritima (yellow), and Ajuba Reptans. I used an empty perfume bottle as a vase because it’s hard to throw them away after the perfume has been finished. They are just too pretty. We’ll see how it is done, even though it seems so simple.
