A rug can ground a selection of furniture to complete a look in your room. When looking at rugs scale and size help you to choose a rug and the purpose of how they are used in that space.  Using a rug can zone an area especially in an open plan home and rugs can also be used in dining rooms and bedrooms not just the living room.

Add interest and texture to your room with a rug, I love the Armadillo & Co Junior Collection of rugs, they are the perfect size and come in a beautiful and happy range of colours for a bedroom, playroom or reading nook.

Hallways are a lovely introduction into your home and a rug will filter out noise and soften your entrance.  When choosing your rug consider the thickness, flat woven rugs are more practical and when placing your rug in your entrance the distance from your door opening should be two or three steps before your rug begins.  Allow 150mm to 200mm either side of your rug in the hallway.
