Thank you to everybody who watched my video on Friday and sent us messages about their decorating problems. We appreciate it so much. Today we are helping Jennie who is looking for a Hamptons style sofa. Here’s what she wrote:

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your Instagram feed and have recently moved to a new townhouse here in Brisbane. With the usual open plan lounge/dining/kitchen arrangement I’m have a Hamptons style wall unit installed with glass cupboard, TV and cupboards underneath along the back wall.
I’ve been searching and searching for a suitable three seater couch and totally fell in love with the one featured by Nicole in one of your DIY posts (soft blue stripe). It was available at Eureka Furniture but when I popped in yesterday I find it is a discontinued item.
You know what it’s like when you have your heart set on something . . I’m so disappointed.
I’m writing to ask if you have any ideas as to where I might find another couch in a fabric to fit my type of styling.
I plan to buy a rug and I’ve found a lovely ottoman in Freedom called ‘Loren’. I have two single armchairs to add to the area but am stumped on the couch search now.
Walking through furniture stores everyone seems to love the Scandinavian look where as I am wanting the more chic/Hamptons/French feminine look.
Hope you can help me.
Sure can Jennie. I always like to start with a vision in my head before I source products, and because you can’t see inside my head I’ve create a vision board to show you what I’m thinking that Jennie is after.

The room tour where Jennie saw the Eureka Street lounge featured a palette of soft blue/greys and natural tones with pops of pink. See Nicole’s room tour. So working with this same colour palette in mind, I’ve found some options for a Hamptons sofa.
