Fiona from the blog Lilyfield Life is well known for her beautiful refurbished and hand painted furniture. Today on DIY Decorator she shares her favourite places to shop. Here’s Fiona:
So a big problem is that I buy hardly anything new. I love scouring markets to find interesting pieces for my home, but I do have some favourite homewares shops for inspiration and gifts.
Chippendale Restorations is my go to shop for all cabinet hardware. A fabulous range of architectural elements such as vintage doors and windows, marble fireplaces, ceramic sinks, chandeliers. It’s just amazing.
Chippendale Restorations is located at 26 Parsons St, Rozelle NSW Australia 2039 or visit them online.
Rozelle markets on a Saturday and Sunday. I love vintage things and sifting through junk to find a treasure. I think the markets at Rozelle are the best flea markets in Sydney and I love strolling through them, coffee in hand, on a Sunday morning.
The Rozelle Markets are at Rozelle School 663 Darling St Rozelle 2039, more information can be found online
Meshea Lifestyle is tucked around the corner from Norton Street, Leichhardt. Not only is the store filled with beautiful homewares and gifts but they also carry Lilyfield Life’s vintage furniture.
