Mrs Howards at Jacksonville Beach in Florida was one of the most beautiful interiors shops I visited on my USA trip. Walking into the store is like walking into a beautifully furnished home where you can buy everything you see. Want to take a peek inside?
This is the entry that greets visitors to the store. There was a console table on the other side.
Just like a home, the shop has rooms. This blue sitting room was at the front of the shop.
Just look at the texture on the walls, floors and ceiling beams. Perfect.
Whilst Mrs Howards showcases the interior design work of owner Phoebe Howard, it also shows all the special architectural details that her husband Jim is famous for. Look at the curved wall in this room.
Every dining table on display was beautifully set. You could just imagine yourself sitting down to a meal.
The styling in the store was amazing, looking more like a home than a shop.
The other side of the store is Max and Co, which is a more relaxed and coastal inspired look.
I was so impressed with this shop, that I had to share it with you. So much goodness under one roof.
Phoebe Howard is the author of two books – The Joy of Decorating and her latest book Room by Room. You can read my book review of the Joy of Decorating here.
If you ever get to visit Florida, I urge you to pay a visit to Mrs Howards. You won’t be disappointed.
Store – 2400 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida
I went to the Jacksonville Beach store. There are 3 other stores in Jacksonville (FL), Atlanta (GA) and Charlotte (NC). You will find details and addresses on the Mrs Howards website. I hope you enjoyed seeing inside the store. What did you like most about it?
