Home Office Makeovers

These days, many people work from home, including us (the DIY Decorator girls).  When you spend so much time in your home office, it’s important that you create the right atmosphere to enjoy.  As I contemplate how to decorate my home office, let me share some inspirational workspaces.  These are real DIY makeovers, completed by bloggers.

This is one of my favourite home office makeovers.  It belongs to Sonia, from Life, Love & Hiccups blog.  I love the fabric covered noticeboard, and chair arms.

 Pretty styling combines practical storage and decorator touches.

This small office space from Cheryl at Beachcomber is timeless.  I love the way she used an old shutter instead of a noticeboard.

This home office belongs to Yvette from The Stylist Splash blog.  She created her home office using a simple stationer’s desk from Freedom Furniture.

Kikki K accessories, framed artwork and a beautiful collection of books add to the charm of this setting.

Kristine at The Painted Hive always does the most amazing job at DIY decorating, and her home office is no exception.

Finally, it’s hard not to love the simple black and white office from Stylizimo.  There’s something about a monochromatic colour scheme.

I’m not sure what look my home office will take yet.  I’ll just keep pinning pictures until I find that one picture that gives you a ‘light bulb’ moment.
