Clear glass lamps are a big design trend at the moment, and I just love them.  We often use lamps as an anchor to a vignette on a side table, bedside table or console table, but using a glass lamp doesn’t create a heavy weight in the arrangement and the glass reflects the light in different and unusual ways creating an interesting effect.

Have you seen these fillable glass lamps from Alfresco Emporium?  The light fitting at the top of this lamp is removable, allowing you to place your treasured collections inside to create a stunning talking piece.  The lamps can be filled with coral, shells, corks, flowers, sea glass or whatever takes your fancy.

You could also place a filler or pretty object under the Gabby lamp as there is no bottom to the vase.  And just to prove that it doesn’t matter where you buy the lamp from, it’s how you style it, look at this lamp from Super AMart (now sold out) styled by Kristine from The Painted Hive.
