A friend’s sister recently bought a beach house in Noosa (lucky girl), and asked me where she could find coastal decor for her new beach house. She was thinking about shells, driftwood and a few other coastal touches. So here’s what I found….

Nothings says coastal more than sand and shells. Display a collection of shells in a simple glass jar, footed bowl or cloche. You can use shells you have collected on the beach, or buy bags of mixed shells from stores – try Alfresco Emporium, Earthborn and even discount stores such as Overflow.
Driftwood Pelicans – Treasures of the Sea | Driftwood Lamp – Eco Chic | Driftwood Anchor – Eco Chic | Driftwood Spheres – Treasures of the Sea
Beautifully weathered and worn by the sea, driftwood pieces will instantly add a coastal feel to your beach house.
Sea Urchins & Starfish
Starfish Cluster – Treasures of the Sea | DIY white painted sea urchins from Follow Studio | Sea Urchin artwork from Williams Sonoma | Set of 3 wooden starfish – Coastal Designs
Hang a starfish or starfish garland from a hook for some coastal whimsy. Create a unique piece of artwork or decor using sea urchins. Purple sea urchins are available from Coastal Fusion.
Other Coastal Pieces
