Balsam Hill make realistic Christmas trees, wreaths and garland. Here is my review of the Balsam Hill Vermont White Spruce pre-lit 60cm wreath. They really truly do look like real foliage.
Unboxing the Balsam Hill Wreath
Here’s a short video I made when I opened my Balsam Hill wreath to show you what you get and how to fluff up the branches of your wreath.
Balsam Hill now have an Australian website and offer free shipping from their Sydney warehouse making delivery both quick and affordable.
Hanging the Wreath
I have decided to hang my wreath on my front veranda above a console table that lives there all year round.
I have kept it simple this year, with just a black and white stripe ribbon around the wreath and the lanterns. To learn how to tie a bow that sits well, watch my video on Christmas Potted Plants.
The UL lights are suitable for inside and outside use, so I figure the wreath is okay to be outside. It is undercover but will get some of that Queensland afternoon sun on it.
Lights on the Wreath
The Vermont White Spruce wreath comes pre-lit with fairy lights. The battery compartment takes 4 x AA size batteries.
The lights come with a timber function so you don’t have to remember to turn them on or off.
- Press the on button once and the timer is set for 4 hours on and 20 hours off (green light)
- Press the on button a second time and the timer is set for 6 hours on and 18 hours off (yellow light)
- Press the on button three times and the timer is set for 8 hours on and 16 hours off (red light)
I am very happy with my wreath. It really does look and feel real. More real than most of the wreaths you see in stores. If you are after an authentic real looking Christmas tree or wreath, then definitely take a look at the Balsam Hill Website. All I need now is a pine fragrance so it smells real too.
Disclosure: Balsam Hill sent me a Vermont White Spruce 60cm Wreath to review for this post. All opinions expressed in this post are mine, and I have given an honest account of the product.
